Predict the exact score

Everton 2 1 Coventry

Not who wins - the score. Every game, every week.

Long shots score most

For example

You said 2 - 1
It finished 2 - 1
Exact score 3
Fewer than 1 in 5 predicted that result +2
Fewer than 1 in 20 predicted that score +2
That one fixture 7

3 for the exact score, 1 if you missed the score but got the right result. Then +2 if fewer than a fifth of players predicted that result, and +2 more if fewer than a twentieth predicted that exact score - two separate bonuses.

Get promoted to the Premier League

  1. Premier League
  2. Championship

  5. Non‑League you start here

Divisions are decided every month. Nobody skips a rung, so one good week is never enough.

Things to win

41 achievements, and trophies to show off

Badges for the great calls, the long climbs and the head-to-heads - and one or two for the days it all goes wrong. You will find the rest as you play.

Fill up your trophy cabinet

Finish in the top 10 of your division in any month, or of the season table, and it goes in your cabinet for every player to see. The Trophy Standings add up every one ever won here: proof, over years rather than weeks, of who really knows their football.

Start a mini-league, send round the link, and anyone who opens it is in. One for work, one for the family, one for the pub - as many as you like. The same predictions count in every one of them, and in the main table as well.

Pestering people to predict since 1993

It started on a family holiday.

The first prediction slips were written out by hand on a family holiday, with no printer in sight, and everybody had fun with them. In 1993 they went round a classroom at 20p each for charity, the scores added up and a table printed so everyone could see how they did. Even a teacher gave in and bought one, not at all sure he was allowed to. It went online in 2002 as Predict the Premiership, and it has run every season since.

Free to play, and nothing to win but the table. Joining halfway through is fine - divisions are decided monthly, so you are playing for something from your first game.
